VOON Community Rules

1. Respect and safety

1.1. No threats, bullying, humiliation, discrimination, sexual harassment, glorification of violence, stalking, blackmail, doxxing or coordination of harm. Route data must not be used to locate a person’s home, work or routine.

2. Child safety

2.1. No sexualisation or exploitation of minors, grooming, requests for sexual material, disclosure of a child’s precise home/school location, or any content creating a child-safety risk. VOON may immediately remove content, preserve necessary evidence and report it to authorities.

3. Dangerous and unlawful content

3.1. No instructions, offers or encouragement involving crime, terrorism, extremism, self-harm, illegal drugs/weapons, dangerous stunts without responsible context, trespass or bypassing safety controls. Describing a sporting experience is permitted where it does not encourage clearly dangerous or unlawful replication.

4. Routes and location

4.1. Check the start, finish and full GPS line and remove sensitive places.

4.2. Do not label closed, military, critical, private or protected land as accessible without lawful authority.

4.3. Do not claim a route is safe, lawful or passable without a reliable basis.

4.4. Disclose known seasonal closures, major hazards and permit requirements.

4.5. Do not publish another person’s exact location without consent.

4.6. A VOON route is user information, not a safety or legality guarantee.

5. Photos and personal data

5.1. Post only content you may lawfully use. Obtain necessary consent for recognisable people and private property. No non-consensual intimate content, identity documents, card details, passwords, addresses or harmful private data. Route photos should avoid exposing homes, vehicle plates or bystanders without necessity.

6. Intellectual property

6.1. Do not post another person’s photos, text, maps, logos or route databases without permission or a legal exception. Rights holders may email voonapp@mail.ru with the protected work, challenged content, contact details and authority.

7. Authenticity and integrity

7.1. No impersonation, fabricated metrics/routes, undisclosed ads, fraud, phishing, fake fundraising, manipulation of follows/saves, duplicate spam or deceptive links. Obvious, harmless parody is allowed.

8. Spam, commercial use and scraping

8.1. Without written permission, do not scrape, automate collection, resell routes/profiles, build an external database, solicit users, advertise, or use publications for scoring, advertising, insurance, employment or surveillance.

9. Service security

9.1. No unauthorised access, user-impacting vulnerability testing, evasion of access controls, rate limits or blocks, malware, overload, moderation interference or token disclosure. Report vulnerabilities privately without exposing user data.

10. Moderation and enforcement

10.1. VOON considers content, context, severity, repetition, intent, risk and law. Measures include refusal to publish, reduced visibility, removal, warning, temporary restriction, account termination and authority reports. Urgent action may precede notice. Moderation concerns compliance with these Rules only and does not confirm that a route is safe, passable, lawful to access or accurate.

11. Reporting

11.1. Email voonapp@mail.ru with nickname, route ID/link, category, description, date and available evidence. Avoid unnecessary sensitive data. For imminent danger, contact emergency services first.

11.2. VOON reviews reports by risk, keeps the reporter’s identity confidential where possible and, where possible, communicates the outcome.

12. Appeals

12.1. Authors may appeal by email with decision/content ID, reasons and evidence. Repeated appeals without new facts may be closed. Regulatory and court rights remain available.

13. Changes

13.1. Material changes are announced in the app. New Rules govern later conduct, except urgent legal or safety measures.
